When I ride my bus at school, I'm like the guy who everybody hates. Nobody wants to hang out with me, and they're always mean to me. But it doesn't bother me. But there is one guy on my bus everybody loves. He likes writing rap music. Everybody likes his rap music and tells him it's awesome. I asked him what he writes his music on. He told me, but I forgot what it is. But basically what that is is you can find a loop of rap beats that he didn't write. On the website, when you find the beat you like, you take it and you only have one take to record your rap. So, he barely does anything. This is what does bother me. He is just getting random loops he found and making random raps. When I ACTUALLY write my own stuff. 100% of all my songs are all made by ME! No loops or other people's stuff. Plus his raps aren't good. But I just don't understand how everybody likes his stuff when puts in zero effort! What do you guys think?

there are always people who think someone is cool. especially when they believe it is his own rap and music. people like to run behind someone and kiss ass because mabey they will become populair that way as well. i was not liked at all in my first school and everyone hated me but i stayed myself. i realized that everyone else just acted like they where someone else and lied while i was myself and i did not and that made me different and so are you. alot of people may not see it now but eventually the right people will come your way like it did for me and they will appreaciate what you do. look at your fans. you have 123 fans and i bet that guy who uses loops does not have so many fans who like his stuff. you shouldn't worry to much about him. eventually they willl notice that your the one who is original and he is just faking it with his loops and just writes the rap while you put in effort. unfortunally for some it means taking the high road to get noticed and you should be proud of yourself that atleast you can do that and he is just stuck with his rap and a couple loops while you create everything on your own. be proud of that. for me your the coolest on that bus. just keep doing what your doing and don't pay attention to him. people like that are not worth your time worrying about ^^
Thanks. That really made me think. I totally think you're right. But the thing is he partners up with this other guy who writes his own beats. He uses GarageBand to write his beats. They're okay. But I don't hang out with him because all he does is talk about porn and his addiction to it. But I'm glad you said this.
@NyanaCreation @Zophar so what are you worrying about? if you don't talk to him why should you care? i learned that if someone doesn't want to talk to you or you don't want to talk to them why should you worry about being or talking to them. it is a waste of time and you can be doing other things like creating something. let me tell you something. when i was little (like 6 years old or something) i made a friend. we where besties and we where so close. eventually we went to high school and everything changed. she became the biggest bitch i have ever known and she kicked me out of her life because of no reason. i realized that why should i be caring about her now. she doesn't want to talk to me why should i ever again care about her. of course you can be sad and i was to at the time but it just wasted my time. and instead of worrying and being sad about her i turned that energy into somthing positive and did something with it and it made me less stressfull and less sad. if you don't want to talk to them don't, be happy with what you got or if your not happy turn that confusion or sadness into action and try to make yourself even better. but don't dwell on something like that, he is not worth that anyway. your a good guy from what i have seen and you deserve better than to hang with someone like that ;)
I'm still young though. You're probably older than me. But what you're basically telling me is what my dad tells me.

Many people told me I'm very wise and smart too. But I've been told by many people that I never use my wisdom God gave me.
@NyanaCreation @Zophar @Zophar it is up to you what you do with your wisdom. i personally don't believe in god (but mabey something is there i just don't believe it is a god) but i think that it is inportant to share lessons that you learnd. espcially when someone is in need for help. people can not just say you never use your wisdom. that is what you have to seee yourself and look at yourself if you have or have not and be honest. but always be honest to yourself and others and do what you think is right. that is all i can say on that.
What can I say, dude? People can be such huge jerks. I can't understand why anybody would hate you. Your talented and have a passion. That isn't something to hate. Plus, that guy who makes rap, he might use Magix Music. That is such trash I want to deck him. If I were you, I'd try to expose him for putting 0 effort into his songs, and educate people on how real music is made.
I am not popular. I have some friends, but I'm not popular. So when you feel like people ignore you, and feel sad or alone, remember that you have more talent than anyone on that bus at what you do.
This is a reason why musical artists often struggle with depression. Because we, in our nature, are not popular. That may be one reason we come to music. I have depression, I turn to my music. Do the same.

Yes, I know I'm better. But I have a few friends, but when I show them what I made, they don't care. So, I rely on internet reviews. Plus nobody in my family supports me. So, what I usually do now is never bring up when I meet new people that I write music. When I see kids dancing to EDM, I really badly want to say: "Ha! You doofs, you don't even know anything about music. You don't know how that was made! It was probably made on FL Studio or Ableton Live! But Ha! You don't even understand music from this day and age." I don't hate people, but when I go to parties and I go to camp, and they have a DJ there playing bass drops (that suck) and everybody going crazy over it, it makes me feel sad because I'm upset. I would like it if they played one of my songs, but they didn't tell everybody I wrote it. Since I'm hated a lot at school, people give no respect for what I do. I give THEM respect! Here are two scenarios: Once at school, for music class, I once played my song that I wrote for the music class. Nobody cared. Nobody said good job. But when I played bass guitar (I like playing bass when I'm not writing EDM) to the song 24k magic, everybody went crazy. But I go to one of the best schools in the country (IDK like top 5%). Here's the thing though. People at my school are selfish. About 80% of them come from very rich families. When I mean rich, I mean $300,000 - $500,000 a year. I'm not in that 80%. Though I live in a small house, I have a very strict dad and mom who won't ever let me be like those kids. They've been teaching me that since I was nine, maybe. But now everyone's got girlfriends, which wrecks everything. But that's another addition to this post.

Life is confusing, and there are things you won't always be able to understand. But just because he's getting all this credit, that doesn't stop you from making your own songs. He may be doing stuff you don't like, but you don't have to be controlled by what happening to him.
